Joe Cassidy is a Norwich-based artist known for his work exploring the colour, energy and atmosphere of urban and natural environments.

Through bold abstraction and expressive pen and watercolour landscapes, his work balances structure and spontaneity, an energy shaped by living with bipolar disorder. Through shifting moods and expressive energy, his paintings aim to capture both places and the emotional landscapes behind them.

He advocates for art as a therapeutic tool, with a practice rooted in lived experience of mental health. His influences include nature, psychedelia, street art, neurodiversity, impressionism, and contemporary urban expressionism.

Joe has exhibited across the UK and is represented by Anteros Arts Foundation in Norwich.
